Growing Pains is a 2D animated short film that, through visual metaphor, explores the relation between identity, the environment of one’s upbringing and embodied knowledge. With a focus on Eastern-Europe, the loose narrative follows the main character on a journey of self-discovery, acceptance and growth, while treating the audience to a diversity of local folklore and motifs.
