Makin’ Memories

Makin’ Memories is a collection of effortless, cheerful, and delicate memories translated into unique jewelry pieces. Each piece translates a personal memory that Lisa collected from strangers and friends. The jewelry works as a reminder that it is okay to take a step back from our always dynamic and pressured lives. It was important to make the jewelry out of sustainable materials, so the piece can last a lifetime and can be passed on to the next generation. Along with its small story.

Lisa, an illustrator, and ceramist shines a light on daily life activities with her work. She does this by taking inspiration from things as simple as eating breakfast or cycling through the city. ‘These moments are important to me, as I forget the pressure of life, by focussing on these simple things. I feel the need to translate these moments into illustrations or objects. The world nowadays moves 24/7, we move 24/7. I’m here to remind you that we don’t have to be running through life all the time.’
