Funeral of the delicate

In my final collection, I will be showcasing a collection of designs that are built on my Filipino heritage, mostly focused on the traditions revolving around funerals. To some a controversial topic, nonetheless a topic i believe which contains beautiful hidden expressions.

The details in design are inspired by a mix of precolonial Filipino tribal wear and the colonial influences of the Spanish. A highlight of the garments is the use of the Filipino national fabric: Piña fabric, a fabric woven out of pineapple fibers.
