Reflection on space,

Is a work created to bring visibility to the emptiness that resides in the intervals around us.

If we look closely at our natural environment, we’ll notice that space resides in everything; the distance clouds share in the blueness of the sky, the space a patch of grass brings between two trees or the way a silence after a sentence allows for the words to echo within yourself. This empty space is essential for an object, gesture, or connection made, to breathe, and manifest itself in the reality it is confronted with.

The installation questions the nature of the space. It investigates where the boundaries are for it to become visible. Within the work lies room for the viewer to discover their connection to it; Engage with it, challenge it or try to find themselves back in the space of the installation.
