Situated in the context of a worldwide decline in insect populations this VR project made by Federico RamÃrez explores the relationship between humans and animals. Recent global scientific reviews have indicated that insect populations are rapidly declining, posing a threat that could lead to a catastrophic collapse of natural ecosystems. This crisis has largely been driven by factors like habitat loss, pollution, and climate change.
This experience aims to promote self-reflection and encourage appreciation for non-human life forms, in particular insects. Ultimately, hoping to inspire perspective changes that will help protect these little creatures who are so vital to our planet’s health.
