My graduation project, Queer Migrants Eating explores how food can create a sense of belonging within the queer migrant community. Through a series of six gatherings, we explored queering food by making jam, experimenting with unfamiliar vegetables, and cooking and eating together. The project is culminating in tablecloths I made for each of the people who came for the dinners as a thank you and a gift for being my queer migrant family.
