Saran worked with the question: ‘How to create an embodied experience of the ‘Effect of Interrelatedness’ and kinship within an art installation?’ Drawing upon the notions of wonder and reciprocity, as well as the transformative nature of gaining a broader perspective, this work aims to transcend conventional boundaries.
Immerse yourself in a world of carefully chosen metaphors and symbols, meticulously woven to evoke feelings of connection and awe.
Through attention to detail, Saran aims to shape your experience within this immersive artwork. Every element, every metaphor and symbol, is thoughtfully designed to convey the Connectedness Effect, formulated by Saran and inspired by the Overview Effect and by the core science principles of Lakota science.
This installation offers a personal and subjective encounter, the interpretation of the experience is open-ended, allowing each individual to connect with it in their own unique way.
