La Maison

“La Maison” is a photographic installation composed of 4 tanks filled with water. Cyanotype prints of my family house are display inside and overtime they will fade away.

It serves as an emotional journey, delving into the fear of being forgotten and the importance of preserving memories. By exploring the connection between my family house and personal legacy, this project embraces the profound impact of places, sounds, and images on my recollections. Through this installation, I strive to convey the essence of memory preservation and encourage viewers to reflect upon their own experiences of attachment, loss, and remembrance.

Sights Of Unary

Sights of Unary is a photographic book investigates the meaning and function of family photos as a tool to preserve memories and hand down identity and experiences down to future generations. In the book over 400 photos are compiled, all part of a very extensive family photographic archive, collected and kept by my late grandmother. The archive depicts the lives of my Swiss family and contains 2000+ images, some dating back to the very beginning of commercial photography in the late 1800’s.
