Childhood loneliness often stems from struggles with peer relationships. Many children find it challenging to make friends and fit in, constantly fearing exclusion from their peer groups. This social isolation can lead to feelings of loneliness, as they strive to be accepted and included by their peers.
This short 3D animation Birthday shows childhood loneliness through a young girl who invited her friends to her birthday party. As many kids are, she is also afraid of being alone. However, not every moment of loneliness is bad and ugly. It can be okay to be alone and far away from them. I dedicate this film to lonely kids and also lonely adults in the world.
