Een ruimtelijk experiment, over de beleving van het publieke domein. Als een tegengeluid voor het verlies van regionale identiteit dat optreedt bij over optimalisatie. Ode aan nutteloosheid, verlangen naar het on-ontworpen…. Waarom vullen we tussenruimtes in? Wat gebeurt er als je leegte haar gang laat gaan? Loze ruimtes doorbreken de stroming van het patroon van de ingevulde stad. En creeren een ingang voor al het andere.
Leegte in de publieke ruimte is zijn volume in goud waard, maar alleen als het haar tijdelijke invulling en zinloosheid bewaart. Hoe maak je van loze ruimte een Heterotopie? Wat zijn de wetten van de leegte?

This space must at all times maintain its emptiness and meaninglessness, free from any form of meaning or functional purpose.

A spatial experiment, on the experience of public space. As a counter-narrative to the loss of regional identity that occurs with over-optimization. Ode to uselessness, yearning for the undesigned.
Why do we fill in inbetween spaces? What happens if you let emptiness take its course? Empty spaces break the flow of the pattern of the filled city and create an entrance for everything else.
Emptiness in public space is worth its volume in gold, but only if it preserves its temporary filling and meaninglessness. How do you make empty space a heterotopia? What are the laws of empty space?
