As a multicultural individual, what are the scenarios of exploration in one’s identity quest?

This project started with a questioning in regards of the definition of identity that our society has established. I have two nationalities, that in my opinion are quite the opposite; Chilean and French. This has provoked a feeling of not belonging in me, where i don’t know where are my roots.
Through this project I explore the different scenarios that in my experience have helped me through this quest of finding my sense of belonging, my roots. I came across a concept that enlinghted me and help me put into words and visuals what i feel but couldn’t explain: TOPOPHILIA.

As defined by the geographer Yi-Fu Tuan, Topophilia: the affective bond [emotional connection] between people and places.
Thats exactly how i found my sense of belonging, through my emotional connection to my birth country: Chile.
Exploring the scenarios of landscapes, childhood and self portrait I take you to what is for me my topophilia.
