“FRUITCAKE” is a celebration of queerness and Salomé’s own experience within queer underground spaces. This collection is a tribute to the beauty of the queer community, pushing the boundaries of gender and human form, while exploring the art of persona creation, drag, and performance.
Inspired by the playful yet provocative connotations of ‘fruitcake,’ the silhouettes are joyous, featuring oversized bows and whimsical fruits. Materials such as latex are used to introduce
playful sexual undertones, while knits are reimagined and pierced with metal, blending softness with an edge of defiance.
