Simone’s graduation collection focuses on the magic of dressing up. Everyday life can be difficult and boring, leading to her using clothing as escapism into a whimsical reality. She explores how she uses fashion to project her own ideal fantastical identity.

The collection includes a blend of her own fascinations; from the dramatic body-altering practices used in drag, to structured historical (under) garments and frilly girly elements taken from the hyper feminine Japanese style of lolita.

With this work Simone invites you to celebrate craft, queerness and neurodivergence through dressing up!
