I researched how to implement art into sexual education, to create a more inclusive and safe learning environment.
I created stuffed animals that can be used during school time, to serve as companionship to the students, but are also related to the themes we talk about during sex ed, such as emotions, expression and touch.
Inspired by these stuffed animals, I made the soft sculptures that you will see at the graduation show and in the photo’s.
The sculptures are meant to be touched and experienced, but also to be treated with respect and love.
